Summer 2016 Games Worth Checking Out

Mobile: Pokemon Go

A mobile game might not be everyone’s first choice but Pokemon Go has taken the world by storm for a variety of reasons. It’s a great ‘excuse’ to leave the house for a few hours each day and to make it better, there’s a strong community of players who are hosting different meet up events at the best Pokemon locations.

It’s fun, it’s engaging and it’s highly social.

Other good choices: Telltale games for Mobile, Pokemon Shuffle, Fallout Shelter, Plants vs Zombies 2

First-Person Shooter: Doom

This is one of the most entertaining FPS games around right now and it allows players to be as casual or hardcore as they like; it features a long campaign, player created levels and an active multiplayer. There’s plenty of content in Doom to keep players occupied and all skill levels are catered for throughout the game.

When it comes to fast-paced and gory FPS with co-op and a detailed multiplayer, this is one of the best choices around.

Other good choices: Overwatch, Killing Floor 2, Rainbow Six Siege, Battleborn
